Not totally pointillism, but I took inspiration from the dot!

Next Week’s Assignment:

Unpopular opinion: “The Star-Spangled Banner” is not a good national anthem. As we head into Independence Day, this week’s assignment is to write a new one. You can choose to write lyrics that fit our current anthem’s melody, write something entirely new, or even write a national anthem for a completely different country than ours, existing or imaginary. This is primarily a writing assignment, but if you can sing or play an instrument, feel free to record your anthem for us to hear!

Due July 4 by 7:00 p.m.
