Here Lies: April 17-24, 2025

Poetry month continues. This week, write at least three poems as epitaphs for people’s tombstones, starting each with “Here lies ___”
For “inspiration,” here’s one I wrote for a class in middle school:

Here lies Walter Cronkite,
the man that you saw every night.
A bullet through his heart went whiz.
He’s dead…
"And that’s the way it is."
